  • Wihlborgs acquires property in Malmö

    In a property transaction, Wihlborgs has acquired the logistics property “Bronsåldern 2” from Papyrus Sverige AB for consideration of SEK 84 million. The 33,000 square metre lot is strategically located along Yttre Ringvägen, the outer ring road surrounding the city. The property itself comprises about 12,300 square metres of office and warehouse space. The net yield is approximately 9 per cent.

  • Wihlborgs’ interim report January-September, 2010

    • The profit of the period increased by SEK 214m to SEK 574m (360), earnings per share SEK 15.03 (9.94)
    • Continued positive net rentals by SEK 20m, of which SEK 7m during the third quarter
    • Rental income increased by 3 per cent to SEK 957m (928)
    • Net operating income increased to SEK 689m (673)
    • Earnings from property management increased by 14 per cent to SEK 460m (404)
    • Earnings from property management before tax for the whole of 2010 is estimated to exceed SEK 600m (541).

  • Wihlborgs purchases Knutpunkten in Helsingborg

    Wihlborgs has agreed with Nordic Land the purchase of Terminalen 1 (Knutpunkten) in central Helsingborg for SEK 490 million. The acquisition will take place in company form. The property contains 18,500 mof offices, travel centre, shops and restaurants. Major tenants include Scandlines, Svenska Reseterminaler and McDonalds. 740 parking spaces are included in the property. Wihlborgs already owns 22,500 min the same block. Further to the acquisition, Wihlborgs will own four of a total of five properties within Terminalen: Terminalen 1, 2, 4 and 5.

  • Wihlborgs purchases in Helsingborg

    Wihlborgs has acquired the logistic property Bunkalund Östra 8 from DSV Solutions for SEK 18 million. The property comprises a total area of 12,000 sq.m. and the building contains of 6,300 sq.m. office and warehouse. The yield amounts to 8.5 per cent.  

  • Wihlborgs interim report Jan-Jun 2010– best ever operating results

    • The profit of the period increased by SEK 8m to SEK 269m (261) and earnings per share SEK 7.07 (7.21)
    • Continued positive net rentals by SEK 13m
    • Rental income increased by 3 per cent to SEK 639m (621)
    • Net operating income increased by SEK 452m (443)
    • Earnings from property management increased by 19 per cent to SEK 302m (254)

  • Wihlborgs hiring out in Lund

    Wihlborgs has signed an extended lease agreement with
    Scalado for an additional area of 1,200 m2 at Ideon in Lund. Their
    current lease at Ideon is 1,800 m2. The enlargement can be done owing
    to ST-Ericsson's reduction of their area in the building. Scalado is a
    developer of image processing software for mobile phones.



  • Wihlborgs and Peab recruit CEO for MAXlab IV

    Lund University announced in March that Wihlborgs and Peab had together won the procurement procedure regarding the MAXlab IV research facility in Lund. In order to manage the project, the companies have formed a jointly owned company, Fastighets AB ML4. Ulrika Hallengren has now been recruited as CEO of this company. Ulrika comes most recently from Tyréns, where she acted as business development manager.

  • Wihlborgs hiring out in Malmö to Mechanum

    Wihlborgs has signed a ten-year lease agreement with Mechanum Sweden AB for a total of 4,400 square meters within the property Stocken 2 on Västkustvägen. Possession will take place as of 1 October 2010. Mechanum is Sweden's first multi-brand car-repair garage with authorized service and with three facilities in Gothenburg.

  • Wihlborgs Fastigheter AB:s (publ) AGM 2010

    At Wihlborgs Fastigheter AB’s AGM on 21 April, the meeting agreed to the board’s proposal for a dividend for 2009 of SEK 6.75 per share. The record date for receiving the dividend was set at Monday, 26 April 2010. Cash payment will be sent by Euroclear Sweden AB on Thursday, 29 April 2010.

  • Wihlborgs’ interim report Q1, 2010

    • The result for the period increased by SEK 39 million to SEK
      120 million (81). This means a result per share of SEK 3.18 (2.24)
    • Newly-signed lease agreements amounted to SEK 46 million (29)
    • Lease income increased by 2 per cent to SEK 318 million (311)
    • The operating surplus increased to SEK 217 million (216)
    • Earnings from property management increased by 32 per cent to SEK 144 million (109)
    • Equity/assets ratio increased to 30.8 per cent (29.6)
    • Leverage declined to 59.9 per cent (61.3)
