We want to capture the energy and interaction that takes place outside Börshuset and bring it inside. With a mix of offices, conference facilities and a restaurant, we plan to create a lively and dynamic place.
New front
On the ground floor of Börshuset, you and your visitors will be greeted by a beautiful courtyard. Here, we will create a welcoming lobby with a shared reception. The back of Börshuset will become the new front, with a restaurant and lovely terraces facing the water and Malmö Live.
Preserve and highlight the building's character
In 2023, we will begin the transformation of Börshuset, which is now going to become the pearl it deserves to be. With the transformation, we want to preserve and highlight the building's character and history, while upgrading the standard to a modern and energy-efficient building.
The city's new center
Börshuset is located right next to Malmö Central Station (Malmö C) and the canal. The area around Börshuset and the train station will become the city's new center, called Nyhamnen. As Nyhamnen grows, the center of Malmö will shift and Börshuset will take a more prominent position. The building becomes a landmark for both locals and visitors to the city.
