Wihlborgs develops integrated 10,200 sqm solution for MilDef Group AB

MilDef was founded in 1997 in Helsingborg and develops and manufactures robust IT solutions for the defense and security sector. Since the construction of MilDef’s current facility in 2020, the company has grown significantly and requires additional space. The new agreement includes the renovation of existing premises totaling 4,370 sqm, the lease of a nearby building of 2,380 sqm, and an extension of 3,470 sqm connecting the buildings. The solution is designed to meet Mildef’s current and future needs, while also enhancing the property with flexibility, making it well-suited for other types of operations over time.

All buildings will include office space, while production activities will be concentrated in the newly constructed section. The new building will be certified according to Miljöbyggnad, with the objective of achieving Gold level. In the refurbishment of existing premises, the layout will be changed from individual offices to an open-plan office environment combined with meeting rooms, while interior surfaces will be upgraded.

Occupancy is scheduled for summer 2027.

The total investment amounts to SEK 97 million, including land.
