Wihlborgs signs lease agreement with the Swedish Transport Administration in central Lund
In the summer of 2026, the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket) will move into newly built premises totaling 1,665 square metres in Posthornet 1, located in the Sockerbruket development area in central Lund. The lease agreement has a term of six years.
In the second phase of the Posthornet project, scheduled for completion in 2026, Trafikverket will become neighbours with the Swedish Prosecution Authority and HSB Skåne. On the ground floor, Segers Mat will open a restaurant and café with its own bakery.
The first phase of Posthornet was completed in 2018 and is home to tenants such as Trivector, Klaravik, Skandia, Veidekke and the Public Dental Service (Folktandvården).
In recent years, Wihlborgs has played an active role in the development of the Sockerbruket area. Projects include Sockerbiten (Raffinaderiet 5), completed in 2019, and the redevelopment of the century-old property Raffinaderiet (Raffinaderiet 3), which was completed in 2023.

With Trafikverket moving into Posthornet, the mix of activities is further strengthened, and we hope that employees will appreciate the central location, the shared terraces with views across almost all of Lund, and the sunny outdoor seating areas,” says Ulrika Hallengren, CEO of Wihlborgs.
