Wihlborgs signs a 10-year lease with the Education Department in Malmö
After a reconstruction of the mall named Gallerian in the property Elefanten 40 in Malmö, Wihlborgs and the Education Department in the municipality of Malmö have concluded a rental agreement for 1,400 m2 office space on the second floor. The tenants will move in August 1, 2012. The rental value including additional costs amounts to SEK 2.8 million.
”Earlier there were inaccessible retail units on the 2nd floor”, says Anders Jarl, CEO of Wihlborgs Fastigheter AB. ”Through refurbishment, we have received modern office premises in Malmö City. And the shops on the ground floor have their own entrances towards the pedestrian street of Södra Förstadsgatan”.
”We are very pleased and grateful that the Education Department has chosen us as a landlord. They have been our tenant earlier in the property Ledebur 15 which we sold in 2005. By this letting, the property Elefanten 40 is fully leased to both office and retail activities,” concludes Anders Jarl.
